This is a film about a boy, Jordan, and his dog Zeus. A marine biologist, Mary Beth, who is a single parent and leads a hectic life with her two impossible daughters, Judith and Nora. She, along with her partner Becky, are trying to study and save a beautiful dolphin named Roxanne. Unfortunately, Mary Beth’s greedy partner, Claude Carver, tries to capture the dolphin and sell her. Terry finds out that he has relationships with Mary Beth, and they start going out, under the watchful eyes of the kids. Zeus stows away one day on one of Mary Beth’s boat trips, which really annoys Mary Beth. However, when she finds out that the dog and the dolphin can do “interspecies communication,” she is intrigued and curious. In the end, it’s a race to save the dolphin and Zeus, who was kidnapped by Claude. At the end Claude gets caught by Becky, and gets peed on before he gets arrested. In the end Terry marries Mary Beth, and Roxanne finally finds a pod to live in, and has to say goodbye to Zeus. Read more

Fashion mogul Jacobim Mugatu (Will Ferrell) is charged by the fashion industry to find a male fashion model who can be brainwashed in order to assassinate the Prime Minister of Malaysia at an upcoming fashion show in order to retain cheap child labor in that country. Mugatu, with help from model agent Maury Ballstein (Jerry Stiller), selects for the task the dim-witted but good-natured Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller), formerly the top male fashion model in the world but displaced by the up-and-coming Hansel (Owen Wilson) at the latest VH1 Fashion Awards. After losing his fellow male model colleagues in a “freak gasoline-fight accident,” Derek announces his plan to retire from modelling and returns home to his father Spencer (Jon Voight) and brothers and tries to work alongside them in the coal mines, but is rejected by his family and returns to New York City.

Mugatu offers Derek a role in the upcoming “Derelicte” fashion show—a show inspired by the homeless vagrants of New York—and brings him to a day spa to help him prepare for the show. Journalist Matilda Jeffries (Christine Taylor), who wrote a derogatory article in Time on Derek after his loss to Hansel, becomes concerned for Derek due to the impact of the article, and starts following him. She also becomes suspicious of Mugatu suddenly taking an interest in Derek after refusing to even let him model for him in the past, her suspicions seeming to be confirmed when she fails to find any information regarding Mugatu’s past and she receives anonymous calls from a man who tips her off about Mugatu’s “spa”. Matilda follows the tip and sees Derek go into the supposed day spa, but before she can investigate, she is thrown out by Mugatu’s tough female assistant, Katinka Ingabogovinanana (Milla Jovovich). In reality, the “spa” that Derek has been taken to is in fact a brainwashing facility, where he is programmed to attack and kill the Prime Minister when Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s song “Relax” is played at the Derelicte show.

After finding Derek in his apartment after he’d been missing for a week, Matilda tries to warn Derek of her suspicions, but is ignored. She follows him to a pre-runway party where he runs into Hansel and challenges him to a “walk-off”, judged by David Bowie. After Derek loses to Hansel once again, Matilda takes him with her to escape Katinka, who believes that Matilda may discover the truth and compromise the entire assassination attempt. While escaping, Matilda receives another call from her anonymous source who tells her to meet him at Saint Adonis Cemetery. Her source reveals himself to be former hand model J.P. Prewett (David Duchovny) and tells Derek and Matilda of the fashion industry’s influence on political events such as the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy and that Derek’s life is in danger as the models are killed shortly after they complete their task. They are then forced to flee the cemetery when they are attacked by Katinka and her aides. Matilda realizes that she must hide Derek at the last place Mugatu would think to look, Hansel’s house. Derek and Matilda arrive at the residence of Hansel where they explain to him their situation and asks if he can take them in. Hansel tells them that they can stay, but only after he and Derek resolve the conflict between them. While discussing this, Hansel tells Derek that he only held a grudge against him because he was intimidated by him and that in reality, he idolized Derek. While drinking with Derek and Hansel, Matilda reveals that the reason for her dislike of models is because she was overweight as a child and felt even worse about herself when she saw beautiful models in magazines to the point where she became bulimic. Two friends are driving to Las Vegas to spend the weekend, and one of the men, Lou (Johnson) who is driving, asks his friend Ryan (Fox) if one could get away with killing someone in the middle of nowhere. As they explore Zzyzz road, Lou teases Ryan by almost hitting a pedestrian. As Ryan complains about Lou’s behavior, Lou doubles back and sets a crash course for the man that they saw on the road. Ryan grabs the wheel in the hopes to stop Lou from hitting the man, but in the end they lose control of the car and hit the man anyway. The man dies, only after whispering the words “Go home” into Lou’s ear. Lou takes his identification and puts on his watch.

As Lou and Ryan contemplate what to do next, now that the man has died. As a woman walks up the road towards their car, they grab the body and throw it into the backseat of their car. They talk to the woman, named Candice (Robyn Cohen), to find that she’s the wife of the man they killed. She invites them into her husbands winnebago, and they drink a few beers.

After they converse for a while, we learn a lot about the characters of Lou and Ryan themselves. Lou used to be in the Army, after going to Iraq and coming back, Ryan said he was never the same. Lou consistently derides Ryan, and calls him Mitch because it rhymes with bitch. Ryan is found to be a very introvert person. Lou and Ryan keep an eye on Candice to make sure that she does not find out they killed her husband.

They eventually get drunk and they all take narcotics. Eventually Candice and Lou end up making out, while Ryan tries to pull Candice off of Lou. Lou storms out of the trailer after this, as he knows that Candice knows what happened. He throws the keys to the Winnebago into the desert. Candice finds the key to the car that Ryan and Lou drove into the desert, and she tries to steal the car. Much to her dismay, the car is broken. Lou tries to intimidate her out of the car, but he ends up getting stabbed in his cheek by Candice.

Ryan, thinking that Lou is to blame for the murder, helps Candice start the car. After Ryan fixes the car, Candice drives off while Ryan is still on the hood of the car, instead of driving off with him. Ryan, in retaliation, breaks the car down by removing wires in the car. Read more

Monroeville, Pennsylvania roommates Zack Brown (Seth Rogen) and Miriam “Miri” Linky (Elizabeth Banks), who’ve been friends since the first grade, are facing hard times and a mountain of debt. Miri works at the local shopping mall and Zack works at a coffee shop, but they are so inundated with unpaid bills that their water gets turned off right before their high school reunion. At the reunion, Miri attempts to seduce her attractive former schoolmate Bobby Long (Brandon Routh), while Zack strikes up a conversation with Brandon St. Randy (Justin Long), who reveals that he is a gay porn star, and Bobby’s boyfriend.

After returning home from the reunion, the apartment’s electricity is turned off. Inspired by both the cultural mainstreaming of porn and the successful viral video that a coffee shop patron shot of Miri in a state of undress, Zack convinces Miri to film a pornographic movie together to make money.

Gathering a group of acquaintances and hired crew, they decide to film a Star Wars parody film called Star Whores. Zack’s coworker, Delaney (Craig Robinson), who is made the producer, initially rents filming equipment and a building to use as a studio. But when they return the next day to begin filming, the group arrives to see the building being demolished, along with the equipment inside. They are told that that the man that rented it to them had run off with the money. Remembering that the coffee shop boss (Gerry Bednob) threatened to install hidden video surveillance, Zack finds it, and decides to use it to replace their lost filming equipment. Zack revamps the film to one with a coffee shop motif, Swallow My Cockuccino, which they will film after hours at the coffee shop where Zack works using the surveillance camera.

Despite their insistence to one another that they would not allow having sex with each other to affect their friendship, when it comes time for Zack and Miri to have sex on camera, they find that instead of the clinical sex enacted by the actors in the other scenes, their interlude is romantic and heartfelt. Later that evening, Zack and Miri are at home when suddenly their power and water is turned back on. The rest of the actors and crew show up and reveal that they pooled their resources to pay one month of their bills, and have come over to throw them a party.

At the party, one of the other actresses, Stacey (Katie Morgan), asks Miri if it is okay for her to ask Zack to have sex. Although Miri has realized that she has developed feelings for Zack, she tells her it is okay to ask him. The film opens with a news montage explaining that it is set in a dystopic near-future in which the second Bush Administration — which has been elected to a fourth term (even though the actual U.S. Constitution limits the president to just two terms, or, 8 years total) — has disbanded the United States Congress; has banned public nudity nation-wide; and, is embroiled in wars with France, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Canada, and Alaska (which has seceded from the U.S.A.). Facing a situation in which there are more wars than there are soldiers to fight them, a secret laboratory run by Dr. Chushfeld (Brad Milne) in Sartre, Nebraska has developed a virus to re-animate dead marines and send them back into battle. However, the virus has broken containment and infected test subjects and scientists are at risk of escaping the lab. A team of marines codenamed the “Z” Squad is sent in to destroy the zombies, but one of the marines named Byrdflough (Zak Kilberg) is bitten and escapes. The infected marine ends up in an alley outside an underground strip club named Rhino. The marine dies and awakens as a zombie that goes into the club.

Rhino is run by Ian Essko (Robert Englund). A new stripper named Jessy (Jennifer Holland) has arrived at the club to save up enough money for her grandmother’s operation. She is introduced to the club’s star dancer, an intellectual stripper (in one of the earlier scenes she is shown reading “The complete works of Friedrich Nietzsche” before her strip dance is to begin) named Kat (Jenna Jameson). Kat begins her dance on the stage, but is attacked by Byrdflough, who ends up biting and infecting her. Essko is concerned about losing his best dancer, so he lets her go back on stage as a zombie. To everyone’s surprise, Kat is a better and more popular dancer as a zombie than she was as a human.

The other strippers now find themselves faced with the prospect of losing their customers, since the men now prefer zombie strippers instead of human strippers. One by one, the human strippers become zombies, some by choice in order to compete or (in the case of a Goth stripper Lillith played by Roxy Saint) for fun. During private dances, the zombie strippers bite and kill their customers. Essko tries to keep the zombies hidden in a cage in the club’s cellar, but eventually, the zombies escape and overrun the club. The strippers fight each other for supremacy, which includes a moment where Kat shoots ping-pong and billiard balls out of her vagina at her opponent.

The remaining humans in the club struggle to survive until the “Z” Squad burst in to destroy the zombies. But they discover that the zombies were allowed to escape by the Bush Administration, in the hopes that the ensuing zombie plague would distract Americans from their gross mishandling of the war effort and the economy.Read more
